The Fondation Louis Vuitton, another place I have now crossed off my Paris checklist. Paris is such an immense city with hundreds of museums, art galleries, restaurants and cafés to explore. I have lived here for almost four years and I cannot fully say I have seen everything there is in Paris. And yet I have seen so much, walked through countless streets, and again and again have spent weekends strolling the famous avenues, touring acclaimed monuments and museums and observing Paris through different perspectives as I have grown and learned more in this city. Now I have seen one more of the many art museums there are here, each one has a different charm, style, and audience. Though the Fondation Louis Vuitton might call out to you fashion lovers due to the connection to the iconic brand, be warned it is not a fashion museum. There are two pieces from the brand which are both in the gift shop. This is the place for lovers of art and architecture, young and old to spend some time appreciating the view, the culture, and the beauty of the museum.
When I visited the Fondation it was still spring, and that day was especially cool here in Paris, therefore I had to layer up. This look was composed of pieces that were black, and also a variety of blue hues. A black turtleneck paired with a striped sweater were the first pieces I chose to compose this outfit, which layered together added a cool, Parisian vibe to the look. I wore one of my favorite wardrobe staples, a pair of American Eagle jeggings, which were in a faded blue shade. My black trapeze coat was the perfect final layer to this outfit as it kept me warm throughout the day, and also made the look more formal through its cut and fabric. A pair of blue, suede booties added some brightness and contrast to the darker pieces. And lastly, two navy blue accessories, a fedora, and a mini M.A.C clutch added some style, or as I like to call it, “the fashion blogger touch” to the look.
