As many of you will now, today, November 11th commemorated 100 years since the end of World War I. Some people know it as Armistice day, and others as Remembrance Day. But whatever you may call it, this day has always served the same purpose. To remember those who suffered and died during World War I.
Today, we spent the day at home, and had lunch with some friends. We laughed, and we smiled together. It was a great day! I am so thankful for having friends, a roof over my head, safety, and food. As well as a closet full of clothes! I honestly cannot express how grateful I am for the privileged upbringing my parents have given me, and all the amazing opportunities that have come with it. So today’s lesson as we remember all those who suffered, is don’t forget to count your blessings.
