The last night in Bangkok entailed an adventure. We experienced the flavors of Thailand, and discovered the best Siam Square had to offer. Located in downtown Bangkok, the Siam district was loud and bustling much like the center of any major city. It was an excellent place to stay due to the ease of transportation and the variety of food and shopping located nearby. For anyone planning a trip to Bangkok, a stay in Siam Square is definitely the way to go!
A hot summer’s night; the perfect time to wear a maxi skirt. Dressed up, or down they blend seamlessly into any look whilst adding a more feminine allure. The one I’m wearing here features vertical stripes, and a side slit, which worn right can help the outfit appear more sophisticated. I paired the skirt with a basic white tank, which is one of my summer must-haves. I find myself wearing basic tanks with everything from shorts, to pants, to skirts.Their simplicity and versatility are what makes them so easy to incorporate into any look. But my favorite part of the outfit was definitely the bag! This purse, which added just a sliver of silver to the look is actually made of 100% recycled materials! Yes, you heard that right! This bag is from a brand called PopTopCo, which specializes in manufacturing products made of soda can openers. I’m all in favor of being green, not just by recycling or reusing in our day-to-day lives, but also in fashion. I believe that trying to use more environmentally friendly fabrics, and recycling materials is the best way to make our wardrobes more green.
