Budva, the Ibiza of Montenegro, was a coastal town full of surprises. I was delighted by the beauty of this new destination, and all the magic it contained. Somehow it reminded me of countless of places I’d visited in Spain, or France, but with its own distinctive attitude. It was familiar, but foreign. Nevertheless, it was absolutely beautiful.
The Old town was magnificent with its medieval architecture and quaint cobbled streets. Even the rock beaches in Budva were incredible, even though I am definitely not the biggest fan of non-sand beaches! Budva was certainly a pleasant surprise on a journey full of magic, and was a town I would love to revisit one day! If you’re traveling in that area, and are hesitant about where to go, make sure to add Budva to your list!
PLAYSUIT – PIMKIE
BAG – REBECCA MINKOFF
SHOES – PULL & BEAR
I’m not gonna lie. I spent most of my time in Budva lounging around in bikinis and coverups, so needless to say, there werent’t a lot of outfit shots to take. The days that I did manage to look semi-ok were those were these images where taken. My first look was a simple, yet sweet combination of a vintage off shoulder dress, and some rose gold sandals (here!). The second look was my personal favorite! There, I paired a navy playsuit, with some lace-up heels, and played the look up with some fun accessories! My favorite part was definitely the hairstyle I chose to wear that day! I love boxer/dutch braids since they’re super effortless, cute, and great for adding an edge to any look!
Again, thanks for taking the time to read this post! I’d love to know your thoughts about anything that I mentioned/featured, or whether you’ve ever been to Budva before! Next up, I’ll be sharing some pictured from another gorgeous location I visited this summer. I would love to see if you can guess which one it was! Hints, it’s similar to Budva, located in Croatia, and reveled as one of the most beautiful holiday destinations around! Comment your guesses below! May your week be filled with peace, love, and light!
