And I’m finally on winter break! Now, I have a week and a half to recover from a cold, relax, and write some posts! On the last post, I shared with you all a look that I wore to a MUN conference at my school. Today I wanted to share with you the second and final outfit that I wore during the conference. As I said in the previous post, I thoroughly enjoyed it and am now looking forward to the next conference in March!
My beautiful mom, who has an amazing eye for quality clothes and good sales bought this dress for me to wear during the conference. As you might be able to see from the print inside the collar, it is indeed from Burberry. I was ecstatic when she gave it to me since I did not own anything from the brand. It is such a quality piece, and everything from the stitching, to the seam of the dress, is beautifully crafted. I think pieces like this are great investments, since unlike party dresses they can be recycled for different events. The lightweight fabric makes it perfect for summer, but when worn under a thick coat, or a faux fur jacket/vest it can also transition into winter. My Marc Jacobs flats added a quirky touch to the outfit, making this more serious outfit look fun!
Dress – Burberry
Shoes – Marc Jacobs
Bag – Rebecca Minkoff
