What do you think about? Your deepest desires, your forgotten New Year’s resolutions, or maybe this amazing blazer from the upcoming H&M and Balmain collection? My mind is full of endless thoughts waiting to escape. Some I shove into oblivion, never to resurface. But others I share with the world, with you. Works of my imagination filled with patterns and colors clashing, textures and fabrics. Daydreams and goals, ambitions and desires. The most creative thoughts that fill my mind. There’s an artist inside each of us, a creative genius waiting to be unleashed.
With this outfit, I really let my creative spirit shine through. When planning my looks for the trip I pulled out my favorite pieces and used them to create something I could envision myself wearing while strutting down the streets of Málaga, or posing for a picture. The basis for this outfit was this statement-making pair of ultra ripped jeans, and a bell-sleeved, cropped crochet top. My boots are from justfab, a monthly subscription where you can get jewelry, a bag, or a pair of shoes. I accessorized with a handbag in Michael Kors’ signature pattern and a vintage bandana I stole from my mom’s closet. It’s one of those pieces that is effortlessly timeless, something my mom wore while at school and that I wear now, over 15 years later. These candy red sunglasses found their way into my life on my first day in Málaga! To me red is such a powerful, intense color and I never see people wearing sunglasses in this hue, so I thought they would be the perfect addition to my ever growing sunglasses collection. Though we don’t get much sunshine in Belgium, so it might not be the best time to increase the size of my collection, especially as we’re going into winter. Oops!

Just as quickly as it came around, my holiday ended swiftly. I’m now newly in Brussels and getting adapted once again to the not so wonderful weather here. To end off this post, I’d like to leave you a quote that inspired me today!
“To love another person is to see the face of God.” -Victor Hugo
Have a good one guys!
