Walking through the path of sunshine, I can
feel the fleeting shadows.
It’s not usually sunny in Brussels, but when it is, I take full advantage of the weather. On this particular weekend, when the sun was shining and the temperature was bearable, I went out to brunch and managed to capture my outfit of the day. The blend of shadows and sunlight created a beautiful atmosphere that added something different to these photos. I guess the sunshine inspired me, much like it always does.
The outfit I was wearing wasn’t very over the top, but it felt authentic and true to my style. It was a chic casual look that I wouldn’t necessarily wear to school or whenever I feel like it, but in that moment it felt right. It was just casual enough to be worn to brunch, yet special enough to feel unique. In the little touches, I found the things I loved most about it; my hair, the little bag, and the bow on the blouse, the things that made it noticeable. And of course, how could I fail to mention the very thing that tied this look together? One of my go-to pairs of booties. Shoes can make or break her outfit, but I don’t think there’s anything these shoes break other than my feet. Oops!

Inhale. Exhale. I’m finally on vacation! The past few days have been so impossibly busy, I’ve barely had a moment to catch my breath. But now, I can finally feel the weight of school lifted off my shoulders. I’m somewhere beautiful and serene. All I’ll tell you know is that I’m in Europe, but if you want to see the exact countries I’m visiting this week, make sure to follow along on Instagram. Until then…
