It seems like only five days ago I was promenading down the Avenue Louise in a sleeveless dress. Yesterday that thought wouldn’t even have dared cross my mind. When shooting these photos it started raining, typical unpredictable Belgian weather. Thankfully, I was able to get some good shots for this ‘middle of the week post’ even though it’s Friday, but there will be a post on Sunday, promise. I really hope all of you enjoyed the last post because I loved shooting + writing for that very special milestone. I’m overly excited about some changes that will be happening on Living in Plaid because I know you guys will love them!
Now that autumn is officially here, I’ve been wearing whatever I can to stay warm and still remain fashion-forward at the same time. This fall/winter the 70’s are here yet again. What exactly does that mean? Let me explain. Think 70’s silhouettes, flare, cinched waists, bell bottoms, and oversized pieces with your typical autumnal colors – black, grey, brown/camel, burgundy, army green, etc. You’re also probably going to be seeing (and wearing!) a lot of denim, suede, and knits. With that seventies inspiration in mind, I created this bohemian meets city chic look. The sweater I’m wearing hast that oversized silhouette, and turtleneck which are a trademark of that decade. The quintessential item for the season, a pair of flared pants. This black pair is perfect for going from day to night, and also pairs nicely with practically everything!

I’ve been having a great week so far!! On Tuesday we had activities at school, which you might have seen if you follow me on Twitter, and yesterday and today I had no school! Now I’m looking forward to a productive weekend, with hopefully some sleep! Have a great weekend!
