Warm nights, excellent ambiance, and a peaceful atmosphere; the three things I need most on a summer holiday. Summer, my favorite season; a stark contrast to the brisk, dreadful temperatures of the winter season. The heat encircles us all in its warm embrace while the cold strikes us with its fierce winds. I will eternally prefer these tropical temperatures over the cooler ones. The ambiance is what makes a place, good music, laughter, and joy. But the atmosphere, that’s what defines a place. The pauses, the moments of comforting silence, and at the end of the night the blow of an evening wind, a peaceful, serene night. My trip to Thailand held all of those elements and much more.
There’s no denying now that the 70’s trend has come in full force. Some hate it, some love it, and some just can’t decide. But I’ve embraced it wholeheartedly; fringe, flare, and suede included. For this look I decided to incorporate one of these aspects of the trend, flare, and adopted the silhouette popular in the decade, tighter in the top and loose in the bottom. For the tighter portion of the look, I wore a basic, white racer back top which I tucked into a pair of printed, bell-bottom pants. When I saw these pants, I screamed internally for the next 30 minutes. They were the last pair in the store, they were my size, and they were on sale if it wasn’t fate I don’t know what it was. Not only do they possess that seventies flare, they also mix two different prints, adding a more fun, chic element to the look. I wore my F21 wedges to add the necessary height in order for these pants to not drape all over the floor, and accessorized with a dainty, three-layered necklace from Primark. I wore my hair in a simple side braid to add some lightness to the look and to let the pants be the star of the outfit.

This past week we had another long weekend here in France, which I’m definitely not complaining about! From Monday to Friday I’ll be gone baby gone, but will have one or two posts up just so you don’t miss me too much (sarcasm intended)! I’ll be in England during these days, and will certainly be posting on Instagram because I’m an obsessive Instagrammer. I hope you all have a great week!
