The Red Dress | Phuket #1

Photographs are destined to capture a moment, to immortalize an instant. These photographs did that and much more. What I love about these particular ones is the emotions they helped convey. In one, the carefree spirit of a game of air hockey, in another the concentration required to win a game of pool, and so much more! This is the most fun shoot I’ve ever done for the blog, and probably one of my favorites!

I love this dress! I purchased it a few months ago but hadn’t had the chance to wear it yet due to the abominable weather in Paris. Fortunately, that changed once we arrived in Phuket where the tropical climate definitely required dresses, skirts, and other breezy clothing pieces. The shape and cut of the dress were very femenine and perfect for twirling and dancing the night away, or for playing an intense match of air hockey. The lace-up detailing on the back added an unexpected element of the dress. It’s business in the front, and party in the back! And of course, I had to add a flower crown to complete the outfit! This was the final touch to this princess-like look which also helped add an element of the bohemian, flower child spirit which I so love!
