The start of a week to remember | Stratford upon Avon

When I was a little girl, I had no intention to travel. I was content in the place where I lived, with the friends I had, and the objects I saw on a daily basis. The desire to travel and to explore had not yet instilled itself in me. But now, every trip fulfills a little of that wish and leaves me with wonderful memories. My most recent trip was to Stratford upon Avon, Shakespeare’s place of birth. There was much knowledge to be gained, about Shakespeare, his plays, his town, and the theater. But the most important thing I learned during this trip was the value of good company, and loyal friends. They were what really made the trip an experience for me, and I am so grateful to them for that. They helped me create memories I will cherish forever, stories and anecdotes to share with my loved ones now and in the future.

The outfit pictured here is one I wore on the first day of the trip which consisted of a visit to The Globe theater in London, and then a stroll around Stratford. The style of this look is comfy chic, which I achieved by incorporating some casual and some nicer items into the outfit. My favorite item, and the one which was most functional was this yellow raincoat which I bought specifically for this trip. England isn’t particularly known for its favorable weather so an item like this was a must have. I paired it with some relaxed black jeans and a cable knit sweater. These two items added an element of comfort and made the look more casual. A black bag from Longchamp, and my favorite flats from Marc Jacobs added the finishing touches to the outfit.

Raincoat – Petit Bateau

Bag – Longchamp

Shoes – Marc Jacobs
