The Viennese Balcony | Vienna

I am extremely sorry for not posting on here in 6 days!! Ever since I started this blog I have made it a priority to be as present for all of you as I can by posting not only here but also on all of my social media. Life has been crazy lately with end of year assignments, deadlines, and things to do before graduation. I know these are only excuses, but I hope you can find a place in your stylish hearts to forgive me.

This is my last post about the looks I wore while in Vienna. On this day we returned to Vienna from Rust and saw the horse show at the Spanish Riding School. Later, we visited the picturesque Schönbrunn Palace, which was once the summer residence of the Austrian emperors. We walked toured the palace, my brother and I went up to the balcony, strolled around the gardens, and afterwards had tea and cake at a nearby café.DSC_0955DSC_0852 DSC_0847

An edgy, rocker look was what I had in mind for the day, while still maintaining a feminine element. To give off that rocker, bad girl vibe I wore some black garments and accessories. This black top from Brandy Melville, which my dad says reminds him of the Ramones added a graphic, more casual feel. Two leather pieces perfectly complemented  each other and both added some edginess to the look. The first was my staple black moto, leather jacket which I pair with absolutely everything. And the second was a fringed, drawstring backpack which I LOVE! Mainly because it holds all of my things (huge pro), but also because it makes the outfit so much more cool, and interesting. A pair of blue, acid wash jeans kept on the edgy theme of the look, and some blue, metallic slip-ons made the look more relaxed while still being fashion-forward. The feminine part of the look came in through the tailoring. All of the pieces (except maybe the t-shirt) were fitted, and clean-cut. Of course a pop of plaid was necessary, and so came in this headband.

Top – Brandy Melville (in tank top form)

Jeans – American Eagle

Shoes – Mango last season (others I love here, and here)

I can’t wait to share with you some of the things I have been up to lately, places I’ve visited, and looks I’ve worn. As summer nears, I have become more excited to go on vacation since there is something special in store. I promise not to go M.I.A for another week but in the mean time you can catch up with me on my social media!

XOXO, Sofia
