Art is inspiring. It makes us reflect, transports us to different decades, it makes us feel joy, humor, fear, and sometimes even sorrow. Having lived in Europe for 7 years and being able to travel has provided me the opportunity to see some of the most marvelous art pieces ever created. My feet have trodden museums everywhere from New York, to Cairo, to some of the finest cities in Europe.
This is the look I wore while visiting the Centre Pompidou here in Paris. I wore a fairly simple look, but I added some print through the scarf and my booties. Yes, I decided to mix prints à la blogger style. A very useful tip I learnt about mixing prints is to mix prints that have the same background color so there is still some harmony in the look. The rest of the look was compromised of this burgundy skirt, coat, and fringed bag. If you’re going to buy a trend piece this spring, but something with fringe. Not only is it totally 70’s, and versatile, but you can wear it whichever way suits your personality. I personally love incorporating it into part of a boho look, but it also works in a more trendy, or edgy look!
