What dreams are made of | Capetown

Exquisite shades of blue, pink, and orange painted the sky during one of my last nights in Capetown. It was truly one of those sunsets where the sky seems to delicately go up in flames, each shade fading away until the earth is engulfed in darkness. The moments I spent aboard a ship, watching the colors of the sky fade away were amongst the best I spent in Capetown. It was an experience I would love to relive as seeing the sun set is one of my absolute favorite things to do.

Many people who follow my blog, or who know me in person often ask or comment on the photography from my blog. What most people don’t know is that I’m actually extremely passionate about photography and consider it one of my favorite hobbies. I’ve been interested in photography almost from the moment that I first held a digital camera, but my appreciation for it really grew once I created my blog. Since then, I’ve invested a lot of time into improving the pictures that I take both form my blog, and for my personal collection. It’s been extremely fun, and rewarding as I constantly receive positive feedback about the images I share with you. So for those who are wondering, yes, I am the mastermind behind the pictures that appear here, even the ones that I’m in!

Now I’m officially ready to wave goodbye to the beautiful instants in Capetown. I’ve shared with you most of my adventures from South Africa, and the lessons that I’ve learned. Soon, I’ll be sharing with you more fashion related content from my recent trip to Porto, which was less memorable than that to Capetowm, but enjoyable nonetheless. See you next Sunday!

XOXO, Sofia
