Winter Blues and other Hues

As you’re reading this I’m either on a plane or have somewhere without internet access! But, I decided that since I might not have wifi for a couple of days, that I would put a post for all of you to read in the meantime. Below are some shots of an outfit that I wore last weekend. It was a running about doing errands kind of day, which called for casual attire, and comfortable footwear.

As you will notice, the predominant color in this outfit is blue. This had nothing to do with my mood, as it was just one of those days where I wake up thinking, “I don’t want to wear black today.”  Black is chic and timeless, but when you wear it on a daily basis like I do, it can sometimes feel like too much. Along with the blue, I also incorporated some pattern into this outfit. This flannel shirt from Zara is extremely cozy, but when styled right it can also look put together. Here, I wore it over a white long sleeve shirt, but it can also look great worn as a button up, or over a sleeveless shirt in warmer climate. Continuing the navy trend in this outfit, I wore some navy blue jeans and coat. And for my comfortable footwear, I decided upon my chelsea boots. These are my go-to shoes because they compliment a variety of outfits.

I hope you liked this last Wintery post for a while. Argentina, I’m ready for you. Sunglasses, sandals, and swimsuits here I come!

XOXO, Sofia
